CMYK VS. RGB

When you view your computer monitor, you are viewing RGB colors (color created by with Red, Green and Blue light). CMYK (also known as Four Color Process) is the most common color format used in printing, and uses the 4 primary colors Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black. RGB and CMYK colors do not match precisely and may be quite different. RGB contains a wider range of colors (gamut) than can be recreated by CMYK. It is important to understand that the colors on your computer screen will not be identical to their printed versions. This is another reason we provide a hardcopy proof.
